A Hug and a Prayer

This bride has a deep love and affection for her grandpa, and this was the first moment she was able to interact with him on her wedding day.

This bride has a deep love and affection for her grandpa, and this was the first moment she was able to interact with him on her wedding day.

This moment is the exact reason why I choose not to put my camera down – because you never know when moments like these are going to happen.

The bride and groom were in the middle of their family formals (and the line was long).

The moment the bride’s grandpa walked up, she immediately got teary-eyed. I instinctively got in close to be in the moment.

Once I got in close, and the bride and her grandfather completely embraced each other, the bride’s uncle stepped in to pray over her.

I honestly don’t know what could make this photo better.

This may be my favorite moment I have ever captured because this moment is pure magic.

Even I was crying behind the camera.
