Generational Love
While photographing the bride and groom on this little, colorful stairs that lead up to the roof, I saw the grandparents sitting at the table to the left of the frame.

While photographing the bride and groom on this little, colorful stairs that lead up to the roof, I saw the grandparents sitting at the table to the left of the frame. Thankfully, two things worked perfectly in my favor:
1. I was shooting with the 16-35mm lens and was able to frame both of the couples in a single shot
2. The grandparents leaned in for a kiss at the same time as the bride and groom.
The meaning behind this moment resonates loudly with me-- the generational love on display. The goal of most who get married are to last and be THAT couple... the older couple still stealing kisses at the dining table 50+ years after saying I Do.
